From Australia out to the UK, The 4’20’ Sound and Parly B have been stirring up their wicked dancehall stew by adding extra flavors to their recent EP – It Saucy, with 9 eclectic remixes.

Parly B, one of the most prolific and proactive UK deejays at the moment, joins forces with Byron Bay’s top dubwise producer Oren Selecta from the 4’20 Sound to present an epic remix compilation of their recent release.

The best of European and Oceania dancehall, digital reggae and jungle producers bring their special touch and recipe to these two bangers!

In this project, Parly B the raggamuffin ambassador played a major role linking Oren Selecta – based in Australia – with top notch dub producers from around the world including Gold Dubs who has cemented his position amongst the elite within the bass music scene and carries a reputation for effortlessly blending its many sub-genres to great effect. He also sits on the board of directors as one quarter of the ‘Born On Road’ collective/label (alongside Aries, Kelvin 373 & Stivs). Escape Roots, a promising new producer from Glasgow, Scotland, has recorded and collaborated with many talented and acclaimed artists such as Demolition Man, Shanti D, Cian Finn, El Fata, Charlie P & Tom Spirals, and has now signed under ‘Scotch Bonnet’ record label. Dubsy from Lyon, France, is a riddim maker who runs ‘General Piglet Records’ and also runs residential notorious reggae sessions titled Lion’s Night in Clermont, Ferrand. Origin One, head of ‘Deeper Than Roots Records’ and events, and a resident at Nottingham’s Rubberdub, has been creating his own unique blend of reggae and electronic music and selecting heavyweight tunes for events and festivals around UK. He has also signed to ‘Nice Up Records’.
Another great remix was made by the New Zealand- Melbourne based producer Naram, who’s been releasing big tunes in the last couple of years under the ‘Jahtari’ and ‘Scotch Bonnet’ record labels. He also runs his own label ‘Colonel Mustard’, and he is a close collaborator of The 4’20’ Sound, regularly coming out to bless up the dance at the biggest reggae parties in Australia every Monday in Byron Bay. Naram brings the best of what he calls ‘Hardcore Digital’, which he composes on his diverse collection of analog dub toys. Heaviness guarantee!

More talented producers who are featured on the compilation include Dub Boy, Lunatix, Vibration Lab of Reggae Roast Record Label and Sticky Joe.
The main artist of the project is Parly B, a Reggae Artist based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK. Since his debut release of ‘In A Competition’, produced by Tradesman and released by Scotch Bonnet in 2013, Parly B has had a number of vinyl releases with Scotch Bonnet, Reggae Roast, Nice Up Records and Sound Transmission Records, to name a few. Recently an EP called 'This is Digital' was also released by Scotch Bonnet, featuring Mungo's Hi Fi, Tradesman, Subactive, Chief Rockas, Fleck, Escape Roots and Tom Spirals.

The 4’20 sound recently called Parly B to feature on its first EP called 'It Saucy', featuring tracks It Saucy and Mad, released on a 12"inch vinyl. After burning stages everywhere in Europe in Mexico, it is clear that he has to come show his dynamic skills to the Australian massive.
